Platform readiness
How do you choose a platform your AI bot can actually use?
Distinguish API documentation, a read-only connector, an execution adapter and your own account's verified trading readiness.
Choose a venue by matching its account access, market and protection features to a tested adapter, not simply by finding an API link. TradeTwin currently has the cTrader execution adapter for Connext and IC Markets account verification. Kraken and Binance TH are read-only in the pilot; other researched venues do not yet have an execution-ready adapter.
Separate the platform from the broker or exchange
cTrader is a trading platform; a broker supplies the account, products and access behind it. An exchange operates its own account and market services. The same symbol label can have different identifiers, sizing rules or trading hours across accounts. Your bot must use the exact account and symbol it was configured for. A capability described in platform documentation is useful evidence about the API, not proof that your account has the required permission.
Understand the readiness labels
API research confirms a documented interface; read-only means the integration does not place orders. Adapter available means execution code exists, with customer-specific checks still required. Verified account readiness needs the actual account, permitted scopes, supported market and native protection tested. These labels should not be collapsed into a single connected badge. Public registration creates a request, and an MCP configuration card separately describes proposal connectivity rather than live trading readiness.
What is TradeTwin's current venue status?
Connext and IC Markets use the existing cTrader adapter, subject to each customer's account and protection verification. Kraken and Binance TH connectors are read-only, with crypto order execution disabled. Bitkub and Orbix remain researched APIs without an execution-ready TradeTwin adapter. Upbit Thailand is also research-stage, with its regional API availability requiring verification. These are software readiness statements, not endorsements, popularity rankings or claims that all accounts at a named provider are supported.
Check the features needed for your plan
Confirm how the API identifies markets, obtains history, reports open orders, expresses amounts and returns rejections. Determine whether the exact plan's protection is supported and whether historical data covers the intended period. Market hours matter independently of API availability: an always-reachable endpoint does not mean every instrument trades on weekends. A method developed for one product needs its own data and execution evaluation before being treated as transferable to another product.
Keep the account and permissions yours
Customers use their own trading accounts and approved credentials. Broker deposits remain separate from software credits. Grant only the permissions needed for the verified integration and keep credentials out of chats or knowledge recordings. IB, affiliate and commercial API arrangements are separate approvals; the pilot does not claim accepted partnerships. Before activation, require fresh account evidence, exact plan consent and the supported protection path. A venue name on an education page cannot replace those checks.
Questions worth asking
Can Kraken or Binance TH place orders through this pilot?
No. Their current TradeTwin integrations are read-only and crypto execution is disabled. Documented trading APIs do not mean the order adapter and protection checks are implemented and verified for your account.
Does a cTrader connection work for every broker account?
No. The account, permissions, symbol and native protection must be verified for the intended deployment. The current adapter does not imply universal support for every cTrader broker or product.
Do listed platforms have an approved partnership with TradeTwin?
No accepted IB, affiliate or API partnership is claimed. Platform integration, customer account eligibility and a commercial partner application are different workstreams; each needs its own evidence.
Primary documentation for further reading
API documentation describes the provider's interface. It does not certify your account or TradeTwin connector as ready to trade.
